We saw UitA the other day, and I quite enjoyed it. George Clooney makes everything seem dead easy, and his distaff co-stars, Vera Farmiga & Anna Kendricks are both terrific.
If you see it, stick around and watch the credits, and to hear how the dude that wrote the movie's theme song got it to director Jason Reitman.

I've seen the trailer - it left me wanting less.

I take it that you don't care for George Clooney ?

Clooney's fine, but from the trailer the film looked hackneyed and dull.

The film is anything but hackneyed, and not dull at all.

Well, what I got from the trailer is that GC plays a hard-ass business man out for what he can get while being a life-long commitment-phobe, but he's just bumped into the girl (at least 20 years his junior by the looks of it) that can melt his black, corporate heart... yawn.
Just doesn't appeal.

Philip, you're totally off. Without giving anything away, just take that assumption and throw it out.
The film is excellent, Clooney is at his best ever, and I'd probably call it the Oscar favorite right now.

They need to fix that trailer then!
