I need some input. Is it worth it??? I know they offer mp3s and the shirt but what else?? Is it honestly worth spending the 35.00.

The biggest benefit IMO is the access to the pre-sales on regular and VIP packages. There hasn't been much activity in terms of video blogs or contests yet. The fan club forums aren't very active, I think it's partly because they aren't as easy to use as this board format is. It's entirely possible that the Ladies are concentrating on touring right now and the fan club love will come when the touring is done.

IMO, it's been worth it to me to get access to the presales. I look at it as, "If I were to miss out on getting to see a show because I didn't want to spend $35, would I be pissed?" The answer's a resounding "YES," so it was a no-brainer to me. :)
Plus, seeing the little membership card in my wallet makes me smile. Tee hee.

Do it!!! I waited 18 years to join and I feel like a LOSER! I am finally going to a M&G thanks to the fan club, and it's all about the shirt. Really love the shirt!

Well, I admit that I pine for the old Ladies Room days, more approachable, unique, fan-friendly. Thits Artist Arena version comes off as a bit soulless and corporate-just like any other run of the mill fanclub...BUT as was said, access to presales is the key. And the meet n greet is great-for those who can afford it-but as was stated, am hoping that things will get better with more contests and creativity and perks. The boys are pretty accessible, both after shows and via internet-but that is them and not the fanclub.
I too carry my membership card with me-it just makes me happy. And the name is the best fanclub name ever...I tell you what, I would love to be in charge of this, then things would be fun and creative and fan-centered...bring back the gift cd's at xmas-make them downloads if cheaper, but still fun exclusives for fans, bring back the mini magazine - do it as an online version- more contests. I WON my meet n greet-it took effort and knowlege of the BNL catalog to complete the task- and it wouldn't hurt to hand out some meet and greet passes to the hardworking and deserving......but I already spend more time on here when I should be working- better get back to work..:p

To be honest, the pre-sale didn't treat me very well this go-round (Canandaigua), so I'm on the fence as to whether this incarnation of the LR is worth it. Hopefully the issues I had will be addressed with the next major tour (none of the fall tour stops are near me).

:( I miss the old LR that is for sure. Veterans I mean fans that had been in the FC got first dibs and so on and you didn't have to worry about shelling out another 100.00 for tickets. Didn't Steven make a comment about the FC awhile back I forget the tweet but he kinda took a jab at the FC. I belonged to Fall Out Boy's FC and it was run very different ( also owned by Artist Arena) and it was basically lottery when it came to meet and greets and you had a unique code for pre-sales and if you wanted early entry no problem that was a perk for fans. I kinda wish BNL would do that then maybe I wouldn't be as hesistant to join. I <3 BNL and sometimes I cannot stay afterwards due to working the next day,etc so if they had a lottery for meet and greets that would be sweeeeet but sadly I don't see it happening:(

I don't even care about the meet & greets anymore... I just want good seats. Old LR gave me front row more than once... this one? Row S. Seriously. And I don't have the money (ever) to go try and get better tickets later, and hope I could sell the ones I had. It was tight enough just paying for THOSE seats.
I haven't been too impressed with the new fanclub and actually do feel like I should have saved the money for something else. I took a chance hoping to get some good seats with the presale. I can still get better seats by waiting for them to go onsale to the public through ticketmaster. I bought presale tickets and got row 19. I went online the morning they went on sale just to see what was available. If I had waited I would have been row 5 center. If I had the extra money and was sure I could sell my original tickets, I probably would have gone for it.
If you're only looking to join for the presales, you might be better off saving your $35 (+ $10 shipping for the package).

 10.00 to ship?? Eeeks.... Hmm I might decide not to. One on hand I <3 BNL but at the same time if they really aren't doing much to the fanclub then maybe it's not worth it. Decisions, Decisions:p
But, on the plus side, previous members do get an additional 6 months at no charge. :D
