How do I transfer music from my ipod to my itunes library?

[B]So my computer got a virus and I had to reinstall windows, thereby deleting all the music I had on my computer. I still have an ipod full of music. How do I get my music from my ipod to the computer. Do not say iDump, because it doesn't work. I've tried.

I haven't had this happen yet. Does syncing work that way? I think some of my apps showed up in itunes, even though I downloaded them with my iphone.

The first thing you want to do is connect your ipod to your computer via the white USB cable.
