We had one in 2001 that covered the band's first 10 years. Well, it's been almost another 10 years since then. I think it would be pretty cool. There's abit of confusion with E2E though since it had different singles in different countries but I guess you include them all. What do you think of another greatest hits cd, you could call it Disc Two or something. Look at the tracklist below, is it something strong enough to purchase? I think it's an interesting discussion because I'm pretty sure it will happen sometime in a few years.

1. Another Postcard
2. Testing 1,2,3
3. For You
4. Celebrity (UK Single)
5. Maybe Katie (Canada Single)
6. Elf's Lament
7. One Little Slip
8. Easy
9. Wind It Up
10. Sound Of Your Voice
11. Angry People (closet thing from BLAMen to an actual single)
12. You Run Away
13. Every Subway Car
14. (whatever the third single from AIGT will be)
15. New song #1
16. New song #2

This is what I would like it to be. Also, I am using the Disc One method and mixing the songs all together.

01. Testing 1,2,3
02. Wind It Up
03. Every Subway Car (album version)
04. Maybe Katie
05. (3rd AIGT single)
06. Big Bang Theory Theme (which would be good since everyones looking for this)
07. Easy
08. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/We Three Kings
09. Sound Of Your Voice
10. For You
11. (New Song #1)
12. One Little Slip
13. Another Postcard
14. Down To Earth (Not a single or anything close to a single, but this song deserved to be a hit)
15. Angry People (As tvfan said, closest thing to a BLAMen single)
16. Every Subway Car (duet version)
17. Pollywog in a Bog
18. Celebrity
19. You Run Away
20 (New Song #2)

Now THATS what I think would be a kick-ass greatest hits volume 2!

I think you hit the nail on the head with that one!

Either looks awesome to me! Although I'm not fond of Christmas music in with regular music. Keep Christmas with Christmas, I say! Don't listen to me, though. I'm just a scrooge when it comes to Christmas music, even though I have the BnL Christmas album ;)

I think your right. Realistically, the Christmas songs and the Snacktime songs probably wouldn't be included.

Nah I don't think we're quite there yet. Remember, Disc1 wasn't until after Maroon and it came at the point when they were still super popular. It was also a part of their contract with reprise. Getting the rights to the e2e songs will be costly but will have to happen. Also, they just haven't released enough material yet to make a "Greatest Hits" to not be watered down, nevermind the fact that they haven't had any hits.... If this next collection happens, It would be after 1 or 2 more albums.

I love the idea of another Greatest Hits-- they certainly have enough material. I wonder if there would be some issues to sort out though, due to the departure of SP?-is it too soon and how would it be promoted? Although wouldn't it be in both sides interest to do something, from a financial standpoint? I would rather have a release of the rareities that were not on previous albums, even if it weren't a full length- or an albums worth of great ad libs... that would be heaven.:)

Well I would rather have a rarieites album too instead of a Greatest Hits but I doubt it will ever happen since most of the band's b-sides and rare songs were sung by Steve.

I would love a rarities and b-sides type thing. No Doubt did that awhile back. They included their "greatest hits" along with another b-sides type album, and then a live concert dvd...it was great!

That's what we were all hoping would happen when the Foo Fighters released their greatest hits last fall. Sadly, it didn't happen. It would have been awesome...they have a ton of rarities they could have chosen from.

I think Oasis had it right when they released there b-side collection first, way before they ever did a greatest hits.

I think it would be cool if BNL did what Sloan just did. A couple of years back now Sloan released a greatest hits cd (that actually came with a dvd of videos, and behind the scenes stuff of the songs and videos), and then just this year came out with (an online only) b-sides compilation. Except, it would be cool if BNL released it on CD.
