In all, fabulous concert! The only thing that frustrated me was the lack of dancing. I looked like a complete dork dancing all by myself stage left. The Bongos Adlib from Ty got most people up for Four Seconds, but they all sat down again after. I suppose the seats are too cushy.

It took me back to when I was 19 the last time I saw them there at Centre In The Square. I felt like a "kid" again, so I enjoyed myself!

Can't wait to see people's pictures, as my camera didn't work for me. The highlight of my night was happening to be at the window when Ed pulled up in this sweet red Corvette. All that was between us for a few seconds was the pane of glass at the Centre. Ahhh... made my night!

He drove up in a red corvette? Really? He left in a blue Ford type thing. That's very interesting and weird... and yet cool!

Anyways, as we speak I am loading my lameo videos onto my computer, so then I can put them up on youtube. They're not great. I was on the balcony. I haven't heard them yet.. but I bet the sound might be good at least!

The lack of dancing bugged me. I didn't, because like I said I was on the balcony and I'm scared of heights, but I sat as close to the edge of my chair as I could. I was mad though, there was one girl dancing in like the second row and the people behind her poked her and told her to sit down. Are you serious? Get off your lazy butts and dance!

My friend thought the throwing of KD was hilarious. I cringed and shuddered. I thought it sucked that no one threw anything during Pinch Me, and my friend thought that would have been tacky. Like the KD wasn't?

I LOVED the set list! I cried like a baby when they played What a Good Boy. I'm not kidding you. Too bad my memory card was already full by that point. But the whole show was just so amazing, and all the songs were so fantastic and good. They did such an awesome job!

Anyways, if anyone's interested I met them after the show outside! I can post a bit of my story and my pictures... that's if ya'll want to see, or care lol

Down To Earth, WOO! I've been listening to that song lately and thinking "Will they ever play this?".

Great thanks!
My hubby and I went out for dinner before the show and saw Kevin Hearn eating by himself. I went up and told him I was looking forward to the show before I chickened out :) Had a little chat, he was quite nice.

I was a little frustrated at first with the lack of dancing, but I thought after the 'get off your ass' bongo song (which was awesome), that broke the ice and it was not too bad. At least the crowd got up for the faster songs after that. I was more frustrated at the lack of people around me who knew the music. I was row M, far right...not too far back, and yet I was singing along to songs like Blame it On Me, What a Good Boy, and NO ONE around me knew the words. That seriously surprised me. Okay, I can deal with the fact that not everyone might be a Snacktime fan and know all those words, or maybe not everyone watched The Big Bang Theory and knows that song, but to know know songs from the Gordon era? Really?

Anyway, I had fun. This was my 6th time seeing them I think. That's what I calculated last night, though I still feel like I'm missing another concert. Regardless, I would see them anytime I could, they are so interactive and clearly loving what they do, that they make every show unique.

No one around me was singing to Blame It On Me, which totally sucked, I was so shocked. Actually, not very many people around me at all knew any other songs except the singles and even then they didn't know stuff like Easy. I was really shocked. I should have been down on the floor with the good people.

Well, did you estimate the average age at the concert? I was wondering if we were even at the right venue when we saw so many white haired people! It was a surprise to see so many older people, and it might have been not such a big deal IF there had been more audience participation in song and dance.

The guy sitting beside my husband was definitely NOT a fan. He was obviously there with his wife and he didn't stand for anything, and he looked SO mad. Geez, show some ethusiasm!

The good thing was that I had a good time, and it made me feel like I was 19 again seeing them in the "Born on a Pirate Ship" days. Still wish Jim would have done "Spider In My Room".:)

There was a lot of white haired people up on the balcony too, but a lot of people younger then me as well. It was weird. A lot of people had brought their kids, and they sat there bored the whole time. It was so strange.

You're right about the venue though, I would have picked something different. I mean, everyone fit in there, so it was good, but it felt as if it should be more intimate with the people were more of the long time fans (and know more then just singles), you know?

I was thinking something similar after the show i saw. It would almost have been better in a much smaller venue. Then it would have easily sold out, and there would be more hardcore fans. Also make it a small venue with NO SEATING! Then everyone has no choice but to get off their asses, unless they plan on sitting on the floor!

Yep us old people often do not have the need to stand and dance at concerts!! :) I sometimes feel the need to stand and dance, but often I sit and dance. I love live music, but I do not have the same needs that others do to dance; however, I am not one to stop anyone or complain about anyone that does. Well I might complain if there is a drunk lady behind me swishing a full glass of beer over my head...........but that is really the beer not the dancing! I truly believe that everyone has a right to enjoy music the way they find enjoyable as long as they are not intruding on another person's paid space, or interfering with their enjoyment.

LOL a lot of white-haired people? There were a lot of young people (early to mid twenties) at the Halifax show. I was really surprised.

I realized I forgot to include the "It's Magic" rap after IIHAMD. I wanted to enjoy every minute of it and didn't write it down on my list right away...

Also, wanted to complain about the review in our local paperThe Record on their review (http://news.therecord.com/arts/article/703031). Was this guy at the show? They did not sing "Golden Boy", Ty and Jim joined forces for "Pollywog In A Bog" not "Eraser" (and FYI they don't sound anything alike, nor do any of the words make you mix them up), and finally, the funky song Jim sang was called "On The Lookout".

Seriously, if you're going to review the show, let's attempt to get the setlist right. For people who couldn't make it, I've always wanted to know what I missed. (Luckily, this time I was there.)

I didn't read the review in the paper, and I'm glad I didn't. People who write for the Record have been starting to bug me a lot lately. The guy that always writes the Rangers news stories is the most obscure guy ever, and now this concert reviewer seems even worse.
