The Meet n' Greet was quick and dirty, but we did have a couple of minutes with each of the guys. Jim was very talkative, as in he did most of the talking. Kevin asked me which venue they played at the last time they were here, when I said that was when I saw them live for the first time. Tyler commented on my tattoos and asked if I was an artist. When I told him I was a graphic designer he asked what I thought of the CD cover, then asked if I thought he looked good. We gave Ed the cookies we made for everyone. When I told him that we found out on the forums that they liked baked goods, he said he should get it out that he likes motorcycles.
Over all, I stuttered and stammered like an idiot and forgot all the questions I was going to ask! It was just too cool to meet them.
There were four other VIP ticket holders with us, along with a family of four that won the Ben and Jerry's contest to see BNL live at the venue of their choosing, plus a year's supply of Ben and Jerry's.
The show was awesome. I was very pleased when they did The Love We're In. It was beautiful! The song makes me tear up a little when I hear it, anyway, but when I heard it live, I almost couldn't hold the tears back.
Part way through Too Little Too Late people started coming up to the front to dance. When the security came to make them go back to their seats it was close to end of the song, so Ed said "But they just started having fun!". They played the chorus an extra time, and by the end of it there were a ton of people up in front of the stage. We sort of had a little mosh pit of crazy jumping people for the rest of the show. It was funny, but most of us first and second row ticket holders weren't entirely happy. It might not have been so bad, but a lot of the people were being just plain rude. Some people who were jumping around were stepping on people and bumping into them and just wouldn't stop when they were asked to.
Here's the article about the show:

I can't wait to see your pictures! :)
I love the things they talked about when you met them. Tyler asking if he looked good is hilarious, and Ed's motorcycle thing was way too funny!
I hate when people are rude like that about mosh pits and whatever else. A non-BNL concert that I was at recently, people were like that too, and it really bugged me a lot.
The set-list sounds awesome. I'm so stoked for tomorrow night!

Pollywog in a Bog! Is it too much for them do it again on Monday night in KW???? Love that one, as do my kids! (I'm holding out for "One Little Slip" from Chicken Little so I can tell my girls they sang their favourite one!)
The Love We're In is a fabulous song! If I had my wish, I'd have them do "I Have Learned", but I have yet to see it on a set list.
Sounds like it was an awesome experience! Glad you enjoyed the meet-and-greet. I'd love to do that sometime!
Mistee -- it's going to be a blast! I can't wait!!!!!!!

Mistee and I will have to shout it really loud. Might have to make a sign... would the venue let me bring one in?

A few people had signs last night. I don't see why they wouldn't let you bring signs, but it never hurts to ask, of course :D

I'm so excited for Monday!
I looove I Have Learned! It's an amazing song. I'd totally make a sign for it.. except I already have a sign made (of Sharpies and glitter haha) for Crazy and Moonstone. I don't see why CITS wouldn't let you bring it. Just hide it in your purse or jacket or something. CITS has become calmer in years, thankfully, and now don't even care if you bring a camera for the most part.

Actually, they played that on April 17th at the John Labatt Center. It was during the encore.

Yes, I'm interested, too. It's such a good song.

It was done really well! I can see why they'd save it for the encore, just because the song really makes his voice rough. It sounded on par with the cd, which was amazing. I wish I had recorded it.

Here's a video someone got of Too Little Too Late from the show. You can see when all the people the started coming up on the left side, facing the stage. The security dude came over and started to get them to sit down, then Ed said, "But they're just starting to have fun!" Then a bunch more people starting coming up the right side and it just got worse from there :D

Here's You Run Away, which was immediately after and you can really see the crowd.

I think Ed got a big kick out of it. He was grinning almost manically the whole time after the crowd came up.
