My cohorts and I were talking about the upcoming show on Saturday, and we want to get a little something for the band. Have any of you given the guys gifts? Is there anything they particularly like to receive? Anything they hate getting? Should we just not bother?
Any thoughts would be appreciated :D

A friend of mine took them a special BBQ rub at a sound check, and we took them a couple of bottles of local wine at a sound check. Both were local flavor so it seemed appropriate.

Ha ha, thanks for all your thoughts so far. I guess I'd better decide on something soon.

Your cookies should go over well! I'm late seeing this, but baked goods are the way to go as far as I can tell.... they have always been very appreciative and I have gotten many a thank you after! They ate like 35-40 choc. chip cookies I gave them in Niagara Falls on their way to Rochester back in January! PilotMal got to see how excited they were to get goodies after the March 23 release show in Toronto too. Found out the next day that a new goodie that I added was a huge hit with Ed and his wife! :D
Looking forward to hearing how the Halifax show was too! :D That one is a bit too far for me!

Oh awesome! We're baking them right now, while listening to my recording of the Halifax show from the BLAM tour :D

Ha ha, me too! It smells awesome in here. I'm doing one of those "one for me, one for them" kind of things with the cookies :D

OK. We've got enough baked goods and motorcycles. Like for three bands. Thanks, but stop it. EJK&T

Yes, I saw that this morning! What have we started that's making them ask us to STOP giving them baked goods and motorcycles? :D
Good thing Ed didn't say he likes kittens or puppies.;)

I guess you have never heard the adlib, oh well it is beyond funny, especially if you are a "dog guy" too!

I've not had the pleasure of hearing that particular ad lib. Oh well, I'll just continue to admire his beautiful cats :D
Amicustoall

From the sound of the adlib, which is awesome, they are his wife's cats! ;)

Where could I find this particular adlib?

BLAM tour Cleveland. I had to ask a friend since I saw shows in Detroit, Cleveland, Phoenix, LA and San Diego that tour.

I remember that adlib--definitely from Cleveland!

One of the funniest adlibs I have heard. Of course I am a bit biased. My license plate frame says "Missing Cat................................Check Tires."

I guess I'll admire his wife's cats :)
Does anyone have the recording of the Cleveland show, or at least that part? I went to go see if I could buy it, but they don't have any of the BLAM tour shows to buy anymore. I'd gladly trade the Halifax show recording for the Cleveland show recording, if anyone is interested ;)

Cool tin! For a moment there I thought that somehow Flicker had gotten hold of my pictures. The black cat in the next picture looks just like my Nigel, they could totally be brothers, almost the exact same face.

Ha ha, that's my fiance's brother's cat. That photo is a couple of years old, now. I have her daughter, who looks almost exactly like her :D
