I'm running into a very likely schedule crunch next week for the Hamilton show's M&G. I got the same email as I've seen for other shows, indicating that I have to be there no later than 6:30 at the box office to get my pass, and then meet no later than 7:15 to meet the "handler" for the M&G.

I read the first concert people said they sat around waiting until at least 6:45 at the box office...

Can anyone shed some light or me on the situation so far this tour? I may NOT be able to make 6:30 (hell, I may not even be able to make 7:15. My understanding was the M&G was during the opening act, and the show isn't scheduled to start until 8, so I am hoping "late" isn't "game over". Anyone have experience so far this tour that can help me?

PS: The email says "other goodies [such as signed CD insert] to be mailed later" - does this still mean I should contact artist arena to have a CD sent if there hasn't been one yet? I should probably just call them anyway - they are running the M&G anyway, right?

My M & G was on the 2nd show in the tour, Calgary.

We were told to be there by 6:30. Ticketmaster (Ours was thru them not artist arena) wasn't even there yet for the will call. There was mass confusion and long wait time.
We got to the venue and the doors weren't open yet to the public. It was almost 7 before we got our tickets/passes.

We got our passes and then headed to the location we were to be at (beside merch table). We waited for 20 minutes there. A guy came, counted us and then asked us to follow him. We then got lead into a back room, we were told BNL would be there soon. We only waited, 5 - 10 mins. They came in, split up and started to go around and sign stuff. We got to talk to all 4. Then they posed for pictures.

We were in and out by 7:45pm, before Joel Plaskett even took the stage.

In London I picked it up before 6:30 but I don't see why you had too - I could see if the Will Call line was really long and you showed up to close to when you had to be inside then it would be an issue. London's line never seemed long and moved fast (when I saw it at least). But I think you could have easily picked up it later Saturday. I cannot recall what time the person showed up at the merch counter but it was after 7:15.... but I don't think yet 7:30 (maybe someone else has a better memory). The only issue I can see if the one handler showed up - gathered everyone and then took us on a long walk up into one of the suites. I don't know what would have happened if you weren't there then - I'm not sure anyone else would have known where to take you. The band was running late and our M&G went on as Joel started. Then they weren't going to let us leave until everyone was done - so we saw 2 song's of Joel's by the time we got to the seats.

Joel's show doesn't change and he's only stage for like 20 minutes. Its a short preshow. Keep that in mind.

Thanks for the info guys. My next issue, is probably, Is anyone going to VIP M&G at Hamilton... I might need someone to keep track of where they cart you off to so I can get there later and perhaps sneak in ;)
