I saw this topic on barenaked.net, so I figured id bring it over here. Here are mine:
1. "Moonstone"- I don't see at all why this was cut, beautiful.
2. "Statue Of Los Angeles"- A very nice Kevin song. So mellow, and I think it would have been a far better closing track to E2E than "Have You Seen My Love"
3. "Sign Me Up"- Always been curious about this one, hopefully it will be released some day.
4. "Born Human"- This has always been a tune that was interesting to me. Would have been nice to see this make the cut for Maroon.
5. "Back"-Overall a fun song. I would have liked this one to open BOAPS instead of "Stomach vs. Heart".

Does anyone have, or know where I could find, a video of Kevin and Thinbuckle doing this song? I know they performed it on both the cruises I went on (I & V) because I specifically remember having to reach down to the floor and pick my jaw up when Great Bob Scott goes apeshit on the drums at the end. I would really like to show the video to the drummer in my band to show him what perfect technique and posture will do for someone.

Moonstone: one of the most beautiful BNL songs of all time.
I Don't Get it Anymore: I don't know if this is the right song title.
Yes Yes Yes: can't stop dancing! I would have liked this instead of Another Postcard.
Back: love the chorus!
He Makes Me Want Her Again: Is this a cover or an original BNL tune? Either way I remember seeing it somewhere, maybe Bathroon Sessions?
And where could I find/hear Statue of Los Angeles and Sign Me Up?

Statue is avaliable on "The Miracle Mile" and "Sign Me Up" is currently unreleased, but I have always been curious to hear it. Anyways, He Makes Me Want Her Again was written by Ed for someone else. I forget who..
When was Moonstone written? Where can i find it?!!!
I think there are vids of Born human on youtube.. You could try searching.
And born Human is on Kev's cd Nightlight so its not like it wasn't ever released.
Same goes for Statue of Los Angelas, it being on Miracle Mile.

I think I've mentioned this before in other threads, but as much as I love Moonstone, I can see why it was left off of AIGT. I think I read somewhere that it took the band multiple takes in the studio to record the song simply because there were so many times when Ed couldn't sing it without crying. And since it's so personal to him, I can see how he might not want as much attention given to it as, say, You Run Away.
To my knowledge, there has never been a studio version of I Don't Get It Anymore, right? It's a shame because that's one of my favorite songs to play on guitar. As for some of the others (Born Human, Yes Yes Yes!!!, Back), I don't mind them being left off (although Back is funny). Even though it was "technically" available on the special edition of their respective albums, I always wanted to see She's On Time and Inline Bowline as standard album tracks.

I Don't Get It Anymore was recorded for Disc One, but was left off and has yet to be released.

Ed seems to write the best songs when he's gone through tough times. But Moonstone, You can hear the hurt in his voice.

Ohhh! I forgot about She's On Time and Long Way Back Home!! I know they were available on a special version of Stunt...but it would've been awesome if they were on album for everyone. I also forgot Let There Be Light....great tune!

You're not bad. I wish though, it didn't happen. I didn't know her but I felt a sadness when I found out.

That is a beautiful song, and it would be very radio friendly.

Moonstone? I don't think it would be release as a single. Its not even on the album.

I think he's saying that it would be a good single, if it had the opportunity to be one. You know, if it was on the album.

I wish "Moonstone" hadn't been cut, but I can see that it has a similar sound to Ordinary. That said, it's a beautiful song in its own right, and I hope to hear it live one day.
"All In Good Time" is another. That one is my new lullaby to my son to send him off to sleep.

is Moonstone a bonus track, then?... cos it was on the download
I love I Don't Get It Anymore and He Makes Me Want Her Again, plus Long Way Back Home and Powder Blue... all should've made it onto general album release.
Does anyone know if/where I can get a copy of their cover of Wonderin'? (sung by Kev) I know it was going to be on a compilation of various artists for some benefit or other, but I just want that one track. I won a visit to their Soundcheck for the BLAM tour, and Kev was rehearsing it before Steve arrived... it was truly beautiful.
