Ami? Anyone? Did you buy in on the Greek Theatre Premiere Marquee Club Series to buy tix for the 7/22 show? Today is the last day to do so, we were just looking and the Greek line-up. Not really anyone we'd be willing to buy a package to see, so we're thinking of waiting to see if the Fan Club offers anything, and if not, just take the money we would have spent to see additional bands and buy good seats through a broker.
If I remember correctly, the last time BNL was at the Greek they were sharing billing with Alanis, and the night they went on first the place wasn't filled. Since the venues in LA have been getting smaller and smaller for the lads, I wonder if they'll sell out or if all the annoying ticket scalpers will just scoop up the good seats.
Any thoughts?

I'm waiting for the regular single show onsale. I don't have the cash for PMC. I'm guessing decent seats will be available. Back in 2005 I got a single ticket in the front row for Sarah McLachlan there well after the onsale. Love Sarah, but very odd being that close to her, considering the nature of her show.

Uh oh, I recall the Alanis/BNL tour dates at the Greek. I got LR tickets that were stuck way over in the last row corner of Section A. Well, hopefully there's something better this time around.

My hubby and I were members of PMC for several years. In fact it was through them that we got our seats for the Au Naturale show. It became evident over time that even at the Platinum Level it was way better to get seats through other sources including public on sales. So the long and short of it is that we will wait for the Presale through LR or one of my many other sources.
Cyn if I won the lottery and could afford a limo to and from the Greek, I would see about 15 shows there BUT I haven't and we are old and getting home after midnight on a work night is no longer so easy on us!!
Michael we were sitting in the front row of the upper level for Au Naturale.......actually great seats. By the way, are you coming to San Diego?

Yep! Got my single seat in Row 14, Center Section, via TM, which was what I could afford.
teacher's pay - budget cuts - shortened school year = not as much money for shows :(

If I had a million dollars, I'd go to this concert. I would even get good seats, like a front row or a box seat. But not a real box seat, that's cruel.

So confused. You already have your Greek Theatre ticket from TM? When I go to the TM site, or the Greek site, I don't find tix on sale yet, I just get a pop up for a freakin' Double Down. Whatupwitdat?

Yep, that's my ticket for San Diego.
I don't think I'll make Vegas. If I'm going that far, I want to be assured a seat to sit or stand in front of. As I understand it, it's GA in the sand.
Looks like it'll be just San Diego and LA, but I'll be bringing the wife to the LA show.
It's kind of a matter of money right now, but I'm not completely ruling anything out yet.

BIG OL' DUUUUUUUUH! :o Yo, Cyn, could that have been made ANY clearer by the fact Michael answered the seat question by quoting Ami's, 'are you coming to San Diego?'??!!
Lordy, I think the stress of getting to every show possible is taking it's toll.
Thanks guys for your patience. Sorry for my daftness! ;)

Got tix today when they went on sale at Noon. Hub snagged 2 - Sec A, Row E, Seats 37 & 39. According to the seating chart, this is Kev's stage right. Hub tried to go back in and get better and no matter what seats he tried - even VIP - he repeatedly got the message that seats were no longer available. So, he figures the pre-sale lasted all of about 10 minutes.
Anybody get anything good? Ami? Michael? Anyone?

Cyn did he buy four tickets? If you have purchased your limit you will get that message even if there are tickets out there.

We lucked out and got Row AA, thanks to Terri's computer saavy, and my sweating profusely in front of a seating chart on a cell phone at school.
This is the only tour stop for me going VIP. The rest is by the grace of the TM gods.

Hi guys,
I'm planning on going to the Greek and Santa Barbara. I couldn't find the presale code, so I have to wait now. I was wondering if anyone might want to work out some kind of deal. I am not a BNL fan at all - I'm only going for the opening act - Kris Allen. If I buy shitty seats, would anyone consider renting their seats to me and my friend for the opening act only?

renee, I am pretty sure we are all talking about Greek Theatre in LA not Santa Barbara:)

Do you mean you'd like to see Kris at BOTH SB and the Greek? I'll check with hub. I know we'll plan on seeing BNL in Santa Barbara as well, we're watching for that one. PM me to remind me closer to the show dates. How many shows is Kris opening for BNL?
Ami, we only bought 2 tix. Hubby thought that the 4 tix might be the cause, but he wasn't doing that. He also was using both my code and his code to try and get tix. He got the 2 and got out of there and was glad he did get what he got.
Michael: Excellent! Good for you. And when you stand up I'll be sure and yell at you and wifey to sit your asses down! :D

Yep, both the Greek and Santa Barbara. My sister and I will drive down from San Francisco. Hoenstly, I wouldn't even being staying for BNL, except I know that at the Greek your car is kinda trapped until the end. So I don't care where we sit for BNL. But KRIS, OMG, I LOVE him! :) I kow, you guys are probably laughing your asses off at me :)

Also, does anyone have an extra presale code? I know the best seats are long gone, but I have no clue when the regular sale is and I'd love to at least get something

renee you will be able to get something there is no doubt. The Greek does not have their presale or regular sale dates up yet? That is unusual.

Greek presasle started yesterday. I was going to buy a membership to the fanclub for the code, but was told I wouldn't get it in time.

renee I would not worry about getting a seat that is for sure. As far as getting really close for the opener, as a general rule like 25% of the Greek is occupied during the opener.

yeah? I haven't been to the Greek in probably 20 years. LOL! Great, then I'll just move to the front for Kris :)

I'm not laughing. We regularly go see "sets" of acts, but for just one person. We just saw Mike Evin for that very reason. HE was even surprised someone came out and paid the cover charge and then left after his short, opening, set. What do we care? When you enjoy an entertainer, you enjoy an entertainer.
One band we really like only has an EP and does the same 8 songs at every set. But they're AWESOME, so we go. They really appreciate our support and seeing us there each time.
Another suggestion, you can take the Metro trolley into the Greek and then out again, as to avoid the parking and the "stacking" of the cars at the Greek. Google "LA Metro to the Greek" and I think you'll find the shuttle that runs up to the Griffith observatory. The Greek is on the way up and down the hill and the shuttle stops there.
BUT, the guys are great and many people have been converted after just one show. Bring a picnic, be amazed at Kris, then kick back and relax for the BNL performance.

Cyn did you see Mike at that bar recently? I can't remember the name Molly something? Am I close? We really wanted to go, but it is like a two hour drive for us and he looked like he was only going to be on for like 45 minutes.......and it was a work night! How does the new stuff sound? I wish I had known you were going!
