Hey guys, I'm trying to find out about the VIP seating for the 4/30 and 5/1 shows. We bought Barenaked VIP seats and are coming from California for the shows. I'm on hold with Artist Arena, who is saying that those 2 shows are GA and 'that SHOULD mean we're in the front row.' But I could have sworn that - at the least - Oshawa had changed from GA to seat assignments. Have any of you also purchased these VIP, for either of these two shows, and do you in fact have a seat assignment? I just hate it when the people holding my front row seat dreams are using phrases like 'that SHOULD mean...'.
OKAY - so now I've been told MTL is Gen Admission and we are Row 1 seats 5 & 6 for Oshawa. Amazing how staying on the line and not accepting the first answer of 'those shows are both general admission' will get a clearer answer.
Also, I asked about the T-shirts that we were suppose to get for VIP packages and AA said the shirts are suppose to come into their offices within the week and then will be shipped out.
BTW, this phone call started because I was wondering why we haven't received CDs for the Meet & Greet signing for these two dates, but we HAVE received CDs for the M&G signing on May 25th. Artist Arena is looking into this and 'will get back to me' after telling me the CDs were mailed a couple of weeks ago and they confirmed our mailing address.
Boy oh BOY! This makes for an exciting afternoon. Three versions of what happened from two people within 5 minutes and then, 'uhhh...someone will get back to you.' Which is what my husband was told when he called twice 2 weeks ago. He's still waiting, but I've convinced him to stop holding his breath.
