I ordered it from Canada and am patiently waiting for it's arrival here in Switzerland.
(I actually think now it was stupid of me to order it, since I will be in Canada April 16th - 24th.)
How many episodes were in Season 1?

Ed's Up the Full Season One has 13 episodes.
Why only a "Best Of" and not a full season, I haven't a clue. I would have been very happy to have the full season, but for whatever reason, we got 9 out of 13.
The four episodes cut were:
1: Ranching and Welding
2: Tiger-Cat Training and Steelcare
5: Rock Quarry and Saw Mill
13: Mussel Harvesting and Camp Oochigeas

Got one for hubby's B-Day last weekend, but we were out of town. Then we came back and he went right into the hospital for 2 days. He's fine now, but dammit, open your B-Day gift already so I can watch it! :D

Mine's "in the mail". We're hoping to use it in our cooperative education classes to give them an idea of different jobs out there. (Really, my excuse to show BNL related things in my classes.)
Do you have much TV access to the show? It airs daily on OLN in Canada, as well as a few other channels.

It airs on other channels here (other then just OLN)? Say what? What channels!?

CityTV airs it. It was listed on the Guide (I have Rogers Cable) at 3 pm on Sunday. I didn't watch it, as we had company, and because I PVR it every day on OLN at 11:30 am. (These are all EST for those wondering.)

That's cool! I had no idea it was on City as well. I program my PVR everyday too on OLN at 11:30 for it.
