So, who's in the path of this monster storm today? We're in the accumulation "falloff" area, so we're "only" supposed to get 6-12". :p I'm glad it's coming--I always like having snow around with all the Xmas lights.

Snow on the roof is better for Santa's sleigh. He'll tear our roof up in Florida. :D

PS - Be safe everyone!!

NOT ME NOT ME! *happy dance* WNY gets spared for a change! LOL!
Everyone, be warm, be safe. Put on your fleece jammies, and have some hot cocoa.
(on the other hand, this means I need to head out into the retail gauntlet to pick up my last gift and help John finish his shopping... *sigh* )

Our plans tonight are for Cool (Ex) Neighbors to come over for the evening and break out the cocoa, popcorn & "A Christmas Story". Mini marshmallows with your cocoa, anyone? :)

It's been snowing non-stop for over 24 hours here. I'm in the Washington, DC area (about 50 minutes south of DC)....we might have 24 inches by the time it ends tomorrow. That is disastrous for this area!

I was living in Philly when we got that 30" snowstorm back in '95(ish). That sucker shut down Philly, Baltimore and DC for a week!! I can imagine it's going to take some digging out on this one.

Hey you peoples! Keep safe! Get some cocoa and a good book or the wii and stay home! I don't wanna hear about you traveling about in the snow, going down an embankment, and becoming wolf snacks.
Did I mention that times I have an over-active imagination?

We have about 12" where we are west of Boston .... the southeastern part of MA and Cape Cod got upwards to 20" ... Pretty crazy storm, and it's still snowing.
..... And I feel a little guilty b/c I'm too pregnant to help shovel. I did help, however, with marching around the backyard to clear a path for our pug to romp. :D

Scrump goes out in snow? We have to shove our Pug, Chloe, out the door and stand out there with it *forever* to get it to go to the bathroom. If you don't stand out there with it, the second it comes in the house it pees on the floor. It's the most obstinate dog I've known. And that's just if the ground was wet cause it drizzled the night before.

He will go out and run around in the snow, which at this point is just as tall as he is! But he's done after a few minutes. Thankfully, he has no problem going in the snow, just a fact of life up here for 1/3 of the year. Plus, we got him at 7 weeks old, and I think it was just a few weeks after that that it snowed, so he was exposed to it very young and got used to it. Most of his housebreaking occurred in the winter of a record snowfall.
