That's how they've been going for the last few years, though the deal with EMI presented a possibility of change. I guess it's not really surprising that they are continuing with the digipak.

I personally love the digipaks and they have to be more eco friendly.

I don't mind digipacks, but I far prefer ones with actual trays, even if they are slightly more ecounfriendly. It's annoying to slide the disc into those narrow slots, esp. if you're trying to keep both the disc and the digipack in good condition. And interesting side note is that the 5.1 BLAM (which I hadn't remembered, but noticed the same site as this link) was in a double-jewel case with cardboard sleeve, while every other physical version was in a digipack. That's a weird decision.
