What do you guys find funny?
I think Adam Carolla is the funniest living human, TV wise I really like Modern Family and 30 Rock, and no movie will ever be funnier than Big Lebowski.
Also, I really like Saturday Night Live from the late 80's to early 90's. What's REALLY been making me laugh lately is this classic skit with William Shatner. Hilarious!

My favourite comedian at the moment is called David O Doherty, seen him twice so far and he is ammezin!

Seriously worth checking out. Better than the coldplay of the comedy world Michael mundane Mcintyre

The Big Bang Theory - the average episode makes me laugh a few times but the best episodes have me laughing throughout.

- The Hangover made me laugh from start to finish, and I've watched it at least half a dozen times already.
- Dick in a Box (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhwbxEfy7fg)
- Mother Lover (which, sadly, I can't find a clip of)
- Most of the "classic" SNL clips I've seen
- I get bored with most comedians, but Bowser and Blue (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_43f9RzAqMM) are awesome
- Another comedian that I like, that I don't think you'd know, is Louis-José Houde (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnvMU4g9LvM). Here's his "this is the only time I tried pot by accident" story, if any of you understand very quick Quebecois French..
- How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory and 2 1/2 Men
- Bon Cop/Bad Cop, De Père en Fils (Fathers and Guns in English), Men with Brooms
I'll add more if I can think of it :P

Comedians:
Brian Regan
Dane Cook (I know, I'm in a weird minority now, b/c apparently it's chic to hate him.)
Pee Wee Herman - still funny to me after all these years - Pee Wee's Big Adventure is one of my all time favorite movies. Pee Wee's Playhouse is a great kid's show.
Classic SNL
Mystery Science Theater 3000
Simon Pegg movies

Mostly, funny stuff...
But seriously, at the moment I'm laughing at:
Family Guy, American Dad, Cleveland Show, 30 Rock, Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory.
I've also been watching Spaced as my 'before-bed' DVD, and I'm laughing heartily at it.
Unfortunately, good British comedy seems to be a rarity at present. I find myself watching episodes of Only Fools and Horses or Thin Blue Line on G.O.L.D. because there's just nothing much else worth watching. Most the British comedy I've got on DVD is old stuff (Fawlty Towers, Yes Minister/Prime Minister). Only recent things I've got are Hyperdrive and The IT Crowd.
That being said, I did catch Miranda a couple of times and it had a very old-school charm about it I liked, including the Are You Being Served?-esque ending with the actors all mugging for the camera in turn as their credit came up.

I love Spaced SO much. Now it's available in Region 1 DVD, but before it was, I bought a second DVD player and hacked it to Region 2 so I could get the UK version. :D

I did a similar thing. I hacked my player so I could watch stuff like Corner Gas and the like. Plus I've got a few other random films and things I get from Amazon in R1. Wrong Guy being another example (great movie, BnL or not imho). Can't beat a bit of Dave Foley ;)

What makes me laugh the most is when someone like Jon Stewart (who I love and if he wasn't married I'd find a way to convince him to marry me) does a joke that they think is funny and they are having a difficult time stopping their own laughter to continue with their show.
I also laugh the most when someone is *honestly* laughing. You know the full on 'I can't help it' belly laugh. It's usually with people I'm fond of, cause I know them well enough to be able to see it. I giggle when Jake laughs from the other room. If we are together and we see something that he thinks is funny I can't help but laugh with him. Even if it was something that if I had been alone I would have thought was stupid.

Along those same lines, whenever my 4-year-old *really* laughs at something, it's guaranteed to make me laugh. :)

My brother makes me laugh. He is so goofy and offbeat that I always crack up when I'm around him.

Comedian Steven Wright. His monotone voice makes everything he says that much funnier.

I find Letterman very amusing, especially when he is doing schtick with kids, like the "teen scientists" bit that he did a few weeks ago. He is great at ad-libbing.
i bumped into simon pegg on the train last Tuesday! I had to move out of his way, so he could get past, what a boring story :)

I love those moments! Or when he flubs the joke - awesome. Jon Stewart always makes me laugh and I would also include Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and classic SNL

Someone sent this to me.
A realization about my dog!
My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. She has her food prepared for her. She
can eat whenever she wants, 24/7/365. Her meals are provided at no cost to
her. She visits the Dr. once a year for her checkup, and again during the
year if any medical needs arise. For this she pays nothing, and nothing is
required of her. She lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much
larger than she needs, but she is not required to do any upkeep. If she
makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. She has her choice of luxurious
places to sleep. She receives these accommodations absolutely free. She is
living like a queen, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of her
costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day.
I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in
the head, Holy S#!t, my dog is a Democrat!

The Muppets never fail to make me laugh. True humor that doesn't hurt anyone. Impossibly rare...

More self-promotion. I am shameless. :D

I don't agree with that. I think often humor doesn't hurt anyone. I think sometime people choose to take humor offensively though.

I think Modern Family is one of the funniest things on tv right now. Curb Your Enthusiasm is hyserical, with a whole lot of uncomfortable cringing thrown in for good measure.
Really into Louis CK's stand up.

Eddie Izzard. How am I the first person to mention him? Plus, he has boots that I want to steal.

Oh yeah, I love Eddie! One of the few comedians I would actually pay to go see if I get the chance!

I did pay to see Eddie Izzard and it was incredible- it's not like a normal "set-up, punchline" comedy show. It's more like two straight hours of stream of consciousness from a guy you keep forgetting is British.
Also, Modern Family is the funniest show on TV right now.
For some excellent writing, check out Better Off Ted; and if you're not easily offended, get the DVD's for It's Always Sunny in Philadelpia. Very, very offensive, but very, very funny.

I love Better Off Ted. Its one of those quirky shows, like Andy Richter Controls the Universe. In fact, isn't that one scientist guy from Ted off of Andy Richter?
garyrulez

Yes! That's him! He is totally hilarious. And Andy Richter was an amazing show that was way too quirky and clever for its time.

Back when I lived in Canada, I always found people falling down in the snow hilarious, just as long as they didn't hurt themselves. I'd even laugh when I fell down.
