Great Airplay here

I live in the Boston area, and there's a radio station called "Mix 104.1" and they play You Run Away a LOT. They have always received great airplay around here, so it's no surprise really. Just wanted to let y'all know that they are getting decent airplay.

I don't even live anywhere near Boston, and even I know Mix 104 is BNL's whore. LOL! They always give the love.

I still have yet to hear it here in Rochester, but I don't listen to the radio much. WHENEVER I am in my car, I have The Drive on (100.5 in Rochester), but I just haven't been lucky. They're still playing lots of One Week, Pinch Me, $1,000,000 (RS version), Old Apartment, Jane, and Brian Wilson (RS version), though! :rolleyes:

I'm getting a new car soon, which comes with a 3-month trial of XM. Maybe I'll have more luck there. LOL!

Our station is playing it regularly at around 2-3am each day. No, I'm not listening then, but they have a daily playlist so you can see what's getting on the air. The closest it's gotten to "regular" airplay was around 4:52am one day. It's obviously one DJ that likes the song and keeps playing it. I don't know why the other DJs haven't given it a shot yet--it's still moving up charts, so you'd think they'd be willing to try it out once or twice. :rolleyes:

i haven't heard the song on mix yet...i usually only get to listen to the radio when i am getting ready for work and my drive time...can't get reception at work and internet radio is not allowed at work...takes up to much of the server...my husband did hear it at work on wxlo and texted me about it...or was it taunting :)...i know i will be hooting and hollering the first time i do get to hear it on the radio...and i totally miss john lander at mix he always called bnl the house band.

They are still playing 3-5 times a day. It's great!

I have not heard it on the radio at all in central Jersey. But I rarely listen to the radio. Radio around here sucks pretty bad. If I want Lady Gagag I can hear her on 5 stations at once, but no BNL. I just play my Ships and Dip V shows that I downloaded. And that leaves me to ask, "How did Bus stop Creeggan get his name?"

I haven't heard You Run Away on the radio here yet but today I heard Every Subway Car. I was shocked!

I have not caught YRA on Mix 104.1 yet. I must listen at completely the wrong times!

I've been requesting it at 92.5 The River, too, since the majority of Mix music makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

"You Run Away" has been playing in Manitoba a lot, which is good. Can't stand regular radio, but I'll randomly catch it at work which is awesome.

i finally got to hear it on the radio....i caught it a couple of times over the weekend on 104.5 wxlo....and i did hoot and holler...:)

I emailed the station I listen to - asked if they were playing it? (I had looked at the play list on Saturday from about 5 AM to the afternoon) and finally got an answer:

We'll be playing it on New Music Tuesday.

I haven't been able to check the playlist yet (can't listen at work).
