Great news! Barenaked Ladies and Sixthman are ready and excited to embark on another milestone adventure with Ships and Dip VII next February.

We are in the initial stages of planning a 5-day cruise from Florida to the Caribbean and will be inviting our friends Guster, some other great bands and most importantly YOU to join us. Prices will begin at $799.00 per person for Interior cabins, $999.00 for Ocean View and $1,099.00 for Balcony Cabins.

Before getting too ahead of ourselves, we want to know... should we hold a cabin for you?
If we can get your responses by Wednesday, February 17th, that will help us finalize our plans.
Yes! I'll be seeing you on the cruise for sure!
I'm going to do my best to make it.
It will depend on the rest of the lineup.
It will depend on the exact dates & ports.

On first hearing the news, I thought "shit, I'm not going to be able to make it". It's a lot of money, and when I went last year, I considered it as a once-in-a-lifetime event.

However - now, I am thinking "WHY THE HELL NOT?!"

I will have finished uni, I can get a full-time job for a period of time to pay for it (hopefully...), so why would I deny myself from another "best week of my life" because of some sheets of paper with the Queen's face on...

I will do all I can to make it!!!

I really really REALLY want to go. It will, however depend on the dates. if I get to go to Hong Kong, I'd be leaving the last week of Feb. So, yeah, totally depends on the dates. Then again, if I don't get to go to Hong Kong, there's no reason why I shouldn't go... except for missing a week of class lol

Dates are important to me if I want to get into Grad School! (now I sound like one of those nerdy overachievers!)

In a strange coincidence, my wife and I were just talking about the possibility of S&D 7 just a few days ago and came to the conclusion that although Sarah Mc was a beautiful performance, it just wasn't the same without Guster. Voila! It has happened just as we had hoped.

She downplayed that a little in her e-mail, I think. I can absolutely see it though, and it makes me smile!

And my perfect lineup would include GBS, Gaelic Storm, and The Odds for sure, and I really enjoyed Sloan last year. Beyond that, any band with a sense of humour is fine with me!
