View Full Version : new tour
will bnl still be performing older songs on their new tour? Also will they perform anything off their kids album? We are taking our kids who are big fans of their music but haven't heard anything off their new album.
Hey and welcome. :) Yes, BNL will still be performing old songs on their upcoming tour. As it is in support of the new album, you will hear a string of new songs that you may be unfamiliar with. However, BNL have in past years been very adventurous with set lists and will always play the "classics" - One Week, Pinch Me, etc. They also very often play random songs from their back catalogue, and they are currently "re-inventing" the older songs so I would expect to perhaps hear older songs in a new and totally exciting way. I would not be surprised if they chucked in a couple of Snacktime songs either, although that's not a guarantee. Perhaps you could request a song for your children? But definitely go to the show - you will not be disappointed at all! :)

I would be surprised if they played songs off Snacktime on a regular basis during the new album tour.

I would be suprised if it was a regular occurance, but I wouldn't be shocked if one or two came up on occasion, or if they even found time for the occasional kids show. Kevin played "Geese" at one of his recent solo shows, so it wouldn't surprise me if he suggested it for a BNL show. I'd be more surprised to see something like Snacktime, Popcorn or Eraser than stuff like Geese, Raisins, or Pollywog...
I'm also quite confident that old songs will continue in the set. Singles for sure, and at least some of the album tracks without a doubt. The question is merely how much of the set will be old, and how deep into the catalogue will they go (When I Falls and Maybe Katies, or Just A Toys and I Knows?)
