You Run Away - on the radio

YES!
Today "You Run Away" was actually played on the Swiss Radio DRS III!

To understand why this is so exciting, you have to know that they never ever played another BNL song besides "It's All Been Done". (with a few very rare exceptions, like caller requests).
Since the release of Maroon, I always hope to hear the new singles played on Swiss radio.
But they never played anything. Not from Maroon, not form Disc One, not from E2E, ...
I pretty much gave up my hope to ever hear a new BNL song on the Swiss radio.

And now, the first album without Steven Page!

The DJ even made a really big introduction, which makes me believe this is not an exception/one-time playing of the song.
They also mentioned that "All In Good Time" would be released in Switzerland at the end of March.

Maybe EMI just does a really great job promoting the album over here!

Now, I look forward to see BNL play live in Switzerland in the near future! ;)

93.9 here in the Detroit area (technically a Windsor ON station) is playing it pretty regularly now. All three DJs I've heard play it always gush about it. The station also does a listener panel of about 20 songs every few weeks to gauge interest and "You Run Away" was on the panel yesterday. The songs are 'blind' - so no band or title but obviously I know that one ;)

I've been TOLD that 100.5 The Drive is playing it, though I have not hard it yet. Granted, I only listen on my way to and from work, two days a week (for a grand total of about two and a half hours a week). LOL!

The pop station in Cleveland q104 (the one they're appearing at on Friday) has started playing You Run Away this past week. I'm sure it doesn't hurt that the band is coming into town to do a free show for them, but who cares- the song's getting a lot of airplay here all of a sudden.

I've heard it several times on Sirius/XM satellite's Pink channel. I gave a "whoo-hoo" the first time.

Well apparently if I was awake at 2:53am last night, I could have heard it here on the radio here (which seems more miraculous than Barbara hearing it in Switzerland, lol). But I am thrilled that they've actually added it to their playlist bc now I can call & request it. :)

My alarm is set to the one station in Tampa that plays any BNL. The alarm went off on Saturday morning and the DJ says, "Coming up, Gin Blossoms and Barenaked Ladies." So I stayed near the radio waiting...one song, two songs, three songs....I think they must be coming up real soon....fourth song....fifth song....here they are: 'One Week' it is....uggh...still waiting in Tampa.

I caught it on the syndicated Ryan Seacrest show, American Top 40 on the weekend, I think at around number 22 or so. GREAT to hear the boys intro'ed by Seacrest!

Yep, they keep doing that on The Drive, too. At least they'll toss Jane or Brian Wilson (RS version) at me, though. It's not always One Week or $1,000,000. LOL!

Awesome to hear it made it onto AT40! Was it actually seeded around #22, or was it one of those preview things he does?

Down 1 spot on the Hot AC chart to #22...but up 2 spots on the Adult Rock chart to #21. And...up to #22 on the Billboard Adult Pop chart. Still can't punch into the top 20, but great stuff nonetheless!
