Yup. The tracklist says there are 12 songs, but that is not yet finalized because there are 14 as we all know. http://www.amazon.com/All-Good-Time-Barenaked-Ladies/dp/B00368PSHS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1265089442&sr=8-3

Here comes the spelling police in me.....
They spelled "Four" wrong in "Four Seconds", unless I am missing something there! :D

hahahahahahaha!
can't wait to hear Foru Seconds! :p
maybe it's a song about the b-team of the Federation of Oceania Rugby Unions? ;)
I suppose it is entirely plausible that they cut the disc from 14 tacks to 12... I hope not, but it could be the case.

Perhaps there are two 'Bonus Tracks'?
By my reckoning, the 2 missing tracks from this list that we expected to be included are out of the following 3:
Love We're In
Moonstone
Northern Lights
since we know that the following songs haven't made the cut (various sources):
All In Good Time
Let There Be Light
She Turns Away
Also, Caroline Records Distribution? Never heard of 'em...

It is remotely possible that either this tracklist is the "primary" album version, while there will be a few bonus verisons (eg: iTunes preorder) that will contain 14 and that is where that number came from. The Molson preview writer may have had a promo copy that included all 14.
Another possibility, as lame as it would be, is that the US gets 12 while another jurisdiction (Canada or overseas) would get more. I don't know why they'd do that, but it has been done. 12 could also be physical while 14 is digital, to encourage downloads.
Or Amazon could just be wrong. There IS a typo in it...
It's strange that Northern Lights is written about in the new biography, but apparently not on the CD according to amazon. That leads me to think that either amazon are wrong or a certain 4 people can't make their minds up! ;) Cool with me, whatever they feel are the strongest 12 or 14 or however many songs... I trust their judgement. :) I'm sure we'll hear all the songs at some stage or another.

The tracklist has been fixed. They fixed the spelling error, and it seems the two songs "The Love We're In" and "Northern Lights" were added. http://www.amazon.com/All-Good-Time-Barenaked-Ladies/dp/B00368PSHS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1265149452&sr=8-2

I still do not understand the claim of this being the 11th BNL album from any math POV...
This is one of the longest editorial reviews I've ever read EVER on Amazon. It's virtually a magazine article. I didn't think that Molson site review would be used for this. Thing is, it's in the "about the artist" section... to some extent, I'm dubious about the origins of these postings. Amazon does have a limited member-contribution ability. The track list looks pretty correct with what the guys have been saying as far as listing tracks, but I'm still waiting on some official confirmation

I too thought this is difficult to figure out.
That's the only more-or-less logic version I came up with:
01 Gordon
02 MYSD
03 BOAPS
04 Stunt
05 Maroon
06 E2E
07 Barenaked For The Holidays
08 Are Me
09 Are Men
10 Snack Time
11 AIGT
not counting:
Shoe Box (EP)
Rock Spectacle (Live)
Disc One (Greatest Hits)
As You Like It (Theatre Music)
Talk To The Hand (Live)
Another possibility would be to count "Are Me" and "Are Men" as one album and add "As You Like It" into the count. I doubt that they are counting like this though, since "As You Like It" is not even listed on the official website.

Ouch! Good thing I stopped pretending I could remember everything years ago. I do believe I could easily lose "Don't Forget the Lyrics" on a BNL song. Granted, BNL. Could probably lose just as easily, lmao! :p

You are right on - the trick in wording is that they count "studio albums" so anything live or compilations doesn't make the cut in the official count.

As an old album buyer, I respectfully reserve my right to drive over to Rhino Records and get my own...12 or 14 or a jillion songs - no matter to me. :)

Me and Record Archive here in Rochester have had a long-standing date since Stunt. When a new BNL album comes out, I buy it there.
I pre-ordered Snacktime from Nettwerk to get the book, and since that was a total debacle, and came WEEKS late, I ended up getting a regular copy at good ol' RA, too, in the meantime. They never let me down. ;)

I suppose that listing makes sense, Barbara; I somehow never came up with that count.
This is why I quit numbering albums for any artist looong ago. There is no reason to have to say "xth album" anyway other than perhaps in the first five (which is already pushing it). Is 11 notable somehow? lol
There are WAY too many disputable or debatable "what counts" discussions in this field. From As You Like It being a studio album to Holidays and Snacktime being topical and not "main albums" to Yellow Tape being the first indie releae to go gold (but still not counting) to BLAM vs. BLAMen even though they were released as one unit both online and physically, and the latter having no singles... etc.etc.etc. It's not worth trying to assign a number.
