Hello all,

I'm glad that BNL has created this space for us to share and stay in touch. I look forward to reconnecting with you all and sharing my music, too, as BNL has been such a huge influence on it.

While we enjoy the warmth of friendship and the holiday season, I'd like to take a moment to point out that all it takes to help someone less fortunate is one can of food.

Find a barrel somewhere and toss it in. With donations down, every bit helps.

I speak from experience as I lived in the back of a retired cop car for a time and I consider myself lucky to have been out of the weather, back then. Now is a good time to note that half of my cut of the proceeds that my band Junkyard Academy makes goes directly to two charities in San Francisco, CA. (Project Homeless Connect and Project Open Hand - look em up if you like). While we don't have a website or any tangible CDs to sell yet (we've finished up about five songs so far in the studio), this promise shall ring true. Paul Newman had it right.

I wish you all a very happy, safe and warm holiday season and please enjoy this song which will appear on my upcoming album in 2010, "Rooting For The Underdogs" --> "Let's Wind Up At Denny's" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqaUT6BdiRk)
