Why isn't there a Toronto show (I mean other than the the one at Nathan Philips Square) ?
Also, I hope that the guys play Tucson rather than Phoenix when/if they make it to Arizona; I'd much rather see 'em there.

Well Oshawa really isn't that far from Toronto - so while it's not IN Toronto it's not really that far away. At least in my point of reference of the metro Detroit area - Oshawa would be no different than Detroiters heading to the often played Pine Knob (aka DTE). And this is from the Detroiter going to Oshawa ;)
Oh boy and if they play Tucson I might just have to go out and visit my brother again sooner than he would anticipate :p

I was given the response that "there is no TO show due to the NP^2 show". I'm not sure if that's a true response or a cover story; perhaps they felt that people wouldn't buy tickets for a TO show if there was a free one so recently, or wouldn't attend the free one if they had bought tickets to a paid one... I don't buy that logic, so I'm not sure why the NP^2 would preclude a TO show. My running theory with this tour (based on absolutely no actual behind the scenes knowledge) is that they had trouble booking the tour - I base this on the fact that they are zooming east, then back west a few times during the tour, and many big cities are being missed; My pure guess is that the venues they'd want to be in were all booked up during the days it would have worked out for the tour (eg: Hamilton on the 24th, Oshawa on the 1st, I'd think that gap would have been preferrably filled by Toronto, and not Montreal; but perhaps the Mtl venue was available, and Massey Hall wasn't).

I'm inclined to go with this theory, as well. It doesn't sound like they planned this one out very far in advance, like they used to, and it doesn't make sense to bounce all over the place, financially or environmentally, unless venue availability was a real issue.

I hope you're not dissing Montreal :P
