I still haven't watched the last episode yet (don't worry--you won't spoil it for me if you discuss it, I already know what happens) and I missed a couple episodes at the beginning of the year, but I really love watching Glee!

Anyone else watching? What's your favorite episode so far? I think I loved the Vitamin D one best overall of the ones I've seen, both for the music and the plot.

Ooooh! I love Glee! I am behind, as well, and have not seen the last couple episodes!

I think my favorite so far is the dancing football players! Just cracked me up! And yes, I was singing along with them too! :D

And then right after that, Kurt came out to his dad, and had me completely sniffling at home. That's what I love about the show--the way it can swing from one extreme to the other so deftly! :)

Yes! Me too! And I enjoy how they mix real life issues (teen pregnancy, etc) with crazy things! I am so over the whole fake pregnancy thing!!

This may sound harsh, but Glee is one of the worst shows on television. The music is over processed, the plots are jumpy and nonsensical, and the dialogue is trite and bland.

That being said, I LOVE GLEE. I can't get enough of it. I don't know how they have accomplished that, but I haven't missed a single episode. :D

I watch and like the show, but I'm not totally in love with it. The singing scenes are great, and I don't even know why, but it just works...

That having been said, it's sometimes too cute for its own good, and it seems to know and love its own cuteness. That drives me nuts sometimes.

I adore Glee!

Every time I start to think, "You know, this show is kind of cutesy and lacking in imagination," they suck me back in.

I guess I just like shows that can force me to smile.

So funny! This is exactly how I feel at times. I can't believe my brain lets me sit and enjoy it, b/c I *know* that they keep asking me to suspend my disbelief enormously, and the processing on the singing does drive me crazy at times, but I love sitting down and watching it each week. :)

I'm a total Gleek!!! It reminds me of most of my life...I just LOVE it!!! Yay for Glee!! I'm already having major withdrawal symptoms, though!

I'm a Gleek, but not as much as I was in the beginning. I started getting disappointed in the show towards the end of the season. They did manage to win me back over with "Sectionals," though. I just hope they keep it up! I can't wait for the Joss Whedon episode in the spring!

me too!
I loved the last song of the last episode.. loved how they put a little bit of all the other performances in it. Everything about the show is sheer perfection.

I also love it without being able to put my finger on why. I have a feeling it's somewhere between the unbelievably snarky adults, the ruthless kids (and the total stereotyping of everyone) and the fun music.

It's the Vitamin D they emit into the air through our televisions and computers. We're all addicted to that and have to keep coming back for more.

The football game/"we'll dance our way to victory!" episode made my butt pucker. I've always been hyper aware about how realistic sports look in movies and TV and when you compare Friday Night Lights (the most realistic sports portrayal in the history of ever) with that Glee episode, well, I couldn't get passed it.

Yes, I realize Glee requires major suspension of disbelief, but I couldn't go that far.

Although Kurt's line about "auditioning for the role of kicker" was pretty damn funny.

I think that's funny, but I'm not sure what Vitamin D is...oh, sorry, I just saw the above. I had no idea they were doing that, but it must be the case!

According to Perez yesterday (and I'm stuck on my phone, so I can't go dig up a link) the first 9 episodes averaged 5-6 songs. The back 9 are going to average 8-9! Hooray!

A Whedon episode?? Awesome! I can't wait.

I totally feel like it's not that great of a show, but it's entertaining. And there is something that draws me in with the characters.

I actually was a little disappointed with the deaf choir part. Being connected to the Deaf community as an Interpreter it rubbed me the wrong way. Not in a 'don't pick on the deaf people' I get that they were going for over the top, but I didn't feel it was executed well. And that they didn't do a visual of the deaf choir at sectionals I felt was lazy, I would have like to have seen the signs they used for the song there. The one they did show I felt was nicely done.

I don't normally get all girl-ish...

but Matthew Morrison is one big cup of yum.
Especially when he dances. Makes me swoon and blush.

We've just started watching Glee. We were sucked in when we happened to have Fox on, and they were re-running the Single Ladies episode. We've only watched four episodes, but it is fun. I'm not 100% in love with it, it does have its problems, but it is definitely keeping us watching. Plus, I will watch anything with Jane Lynch in it.

Edited to add: No I won't. I just looked her up on IMDB. Not even she can get me to watch Two and a Half Men.
