Is shipping for the shirt included in the 35$ to join The Ladies Room? If it isn't, I can't afford it, just trying to get things sorted out.

Nope - $10 shipping in US, $20 outside.

Crap, I only wanted to join to get tickets early for their show. If I sign up, I don't have enough money on my card :/
This is indeed frustrating. I don't want to wait, and get stuck with bad seats.
Thanks for the info!

I'm sure you'll be fine - you have the general sale too... and I think a few of the shows may have said there's Amex premium seats too. and there's always waiting until right before the show and hoping someone on the board has extras. :)

Yeah, unfortunately, the same Canadian fans that gave them their career have to pay $20 for shipping, plus the cost is in US Dollars!! It does not state that anywhere!! Save your money....better tickets usually available in the general sale

Membership in the official Barenaked Ladies Fan Club plus shipping/handling

While I don't particularly like the extra fee, it isn't like they tried to sneak it in.

I concur. And again, as long as they're upfront about it, they have the right to charge whatever they want, and you have the right to decide whether or not it's worth it to you.

As sarah11918 already mentioned, the USD thing isn't that big of a deal anymore. You'd be paying $58 (CAD) instead of of $55 (USD). Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of money for some people (like me, I'm a full time student with way too much debt and less than $100/wk income) but $3 is NOT worth complaining about.

I sincerely hope that this is someone's alter ego messing with us because I feel sorry for you if THIS is a reason for you to no longer be a fan. BNL has done so much for their fan base, compared to other "celebrities."

I believe his comment of "It does not state that anywhere!!" was about the cost being in US funds, whereas BNL products and services, with a few exceptions, have always been available in "local currency" in both the US and Canada. I generally wouldn't assume it's Canadian funds unless a site actually indicates it.

Laurel, have you heard from the Salt Shaker lately?

I have a feeling that the Lonely Shaker is lonely no more and is instead off on a tropical island with its beloved Dishrack...

At least, that's how I like to think the story ends. I'm sure KitchenSink feels differently.

There used to be a comic book publisher called Kitchen Sink.
