I noticed that bnl makes a great number of their live shows available for download and purchase. While I am not financially able to get all of these, I was wondering if there are any live performances or songs that I simply must hear.
Two of my favorite live variations are falling for the first time from their universal studios mardi gras concert and an acoustic version of Just a toy from Ed's podcast. Just a toy was never one of my favorites because it was way to heavy instrumentally, but now i love it.

The best ones to get are of the shows you've been to, but if you haven't been to any of the recorded ones, I recommend anything from the Au Naturale tour.
The most recent tour recordings of all five members would be from the BLAM ir Snacktime tours.
I would recommend any live downloads you can find from when they've played Glasgow. Amazing energy and crowds!

I highly reccomend 2003's E4E Portland, ME show (and I was not there, and have no personal ties to it). I've listened to a lot of their shows, and that one is really an awesome one.
Charlotte, NC and Boston, MA on that tour are also good ones. Milwaukee, WI on the Au Naturale tour was a good show, but that tour had a number of good shows.
It really comes down to what you like to listen to. If you like holiday music, holiday tours are obviously a good choice. The Au Naturale tour had a (then-)new song played every night (most ending up on BLAM several years later. The 2005 holidays tour (I think it was) also had the same feature. If you like Ed, there are Ed-heavier shows. If you like Steve, there are Steve-heavier shows. If you like Kevin or Jim, there are shows where they play some of their songs. If you like Tyler, I don't understand why... (jokes)
All of this leads me to ask, are the old shows still available somewhere? Because it's not diect from the band anymore...

I might just be a big girl's blouse, but I love the Holiday music that BNL make/made. When I hear it, I am overwhelmed with the urge to cook a turkey breast.
